Are you a recent graduate with a UK degree, passionate about education and considering a future career in teaching? Do you want to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a supportive secondary school environment?

Aspire People is currently recruiting for two Learning Support Assistants to join a thriving secondary school in Stockport from September 2025. These are full-time, long-term roles for the full academic year, offering an invaluable stepping stone into the world of education.

About The School
- Located in Stockport with strong public transport links

- Great opportunity to build classroom experience before pursuing teacher training

The Role
- Supporting students across a range of abilities, including those with SEND
- Working 1:1 and in small groups, helping to boost confidence and engagement
- Assisting in the delivery of lessons across core subjects (Maths, English, Science)
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Being a patient, caring, and nurturing presence in the classroom

Ideal Candidates Will
- Hold a UK degree, ideally in an education-related or core subject area
- Have strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or Science
- Be passionate about working with young people and supporting their development
- Be considering a future in teaching or education
- Have previous tutoring or classroom experience (desirable but not essential)
- Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
