This is your chance to make a real difference to students who need that extra bit of support—whether it's with their learning, confidence, or navigating the ups and downs of secondary school life.

What's the role all about?

You'll be the extra pair of hands (and ears!) in the classroom, working closely with teachers and support staff to help students thrive. From one-to-one support to small group sessions, you'll be someone they can trust, relate to, and look up to—even if they pretend not to!

A typical day might include:
  • Supporting students in lessons, making sure they stay on track and feel confident.

  • Delivering small group interventions or mentoring sessions.

  • Helping to implement individual learning or behaviour plans.

  • Being a calm presence in the classroom.
