Job summary

Greenshaw High School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help students with SEND; you will scaffold learning, promote independence, and support inclusive classrooms in partnership with class teachers.

You will focus on developing students' academic progress and social development, with duties including intervention sessions, exam support, and adapting approaches to individual needs to enable autonomous learning.

Qualifications

• Has proven experience working with children or young people (educational, care or community/youth setting).
• Ability to engage and motivate students who may present in a challenging manner, and to remain professional in emotive situations.
• Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and parents.
• Committed to safeguarding children.
