You will assist teachers, implement evidence-based strategies, and help pupils progress both academically and personally.

The role focuses on one-to-one and small-group support, collaboration with the SENCo, and maintaining progress records to inform future planning.

Qualifications

• Experience using strategies for SEN pupils.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Excellent communication: empathetic and effective.

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions (phonics, precision teaching, structured literacy/numeracy).
• Monitor and implement targets from EHCPs and IEPs.
• Collaborate with SENCo to track progress and adjust provisions to accelerate learning.
