Job summary

Manor Farm Academy in Wollaton seeks a confident Learning Support Assistant to support SEND children who need additional help. The role involves assisting pupils with learning challenges, working with teachers and parents, and attending reviews to meet EHCP targets.

You will support pupils inside and outside the classroom, foster positive peer interactions, and demonstrate strong communication and listening skills within a professional team.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills with the ability to listen to children
• Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers, SENDCO and parents
• Ability to attend review meetings and meet targets set within the Education Health Care Plan
• Support pupils inside and outside the classroom to promote positive social interaction with peers

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to overcome challenges and barriers to learning
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENDCO and parents
