Job summary

Outwood Academy Portland in Worksop is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to implement tailored learning activities in partnership with teachers and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.

You will assist with classroom delivery, support SEND and EAL students, help develop individualized student support plans, and promote student welfare under the direction of the class teacher.

Responsibilities

• Implement tailored learning activities in partnership with teachers and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.
• Provide classroom support and manage interventions, including support for SEND and EAL students, and help develop individualized student support plans.
• Promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support, including for students with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
