Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant in Doncaster to work alongside teachers, delivering tailored learning activities and providing essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups. The role spans classroom support, intervention management for SEND and EAL students, and helping to develop individualized student support plans.

The position is 30.58 hours per week, during term-time plus 5 days, with a starting date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment or with children and young people.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to meet business needs.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding training and DBS checks.
• Experience supporting SEND and EAL students is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement planned learning activities and monitor student progress.
• Support SEND/EAL students and develop individual plans.
• Provide welfare support and supervise on educational visits and exams.
