TeacherActive is partnering with a highly engaging SEND school in Stourbridge to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant. The role supports pupils with Autism (ASD) and a range of learning needs both in class and through practical, outdoor and vocational activities.

The successful candidate will have prior LSA or SEND support experience, strong behaviour management, and a patient, adaptable approach. This long-term post offers an ASAP start and market-leading rates of pay.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an LSA or in a similar SEND support role.
• Experience supporting children with Autism (ASD) and complex learning needs.
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Confidence supporting outdoor learning and vocational activities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with ASD and complex needs in classroom and through practical activities, both on-site and off-site.
