TeacherActive Limited in South Birmingham is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible.

You will support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, assisting with classroom activities, managing individual learning needs and providing personal care where required.

Formación

• A relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD, MLD or SLD.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning and communication needs.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.
• Assist with classroom activities.
• Manage individual learning needs.
• Provide personal care where required.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school based in South Birmingham, supporting children and young people with a range of additional learning needs, including ASD, MLD and SLD. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and individual abilities.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils both on a one-to-one and small group basis, assisting with classroom activities, managing individual learning needs and providing personal care where required.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification is desirable
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD, MLD or SLD
• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning and communication needs
• A willingness to assist with personal care where required
• A patient, nurturing and understanding approach to supporting vulnerable pupils
• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine passion for making a difference
