TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEN school in Gravesend seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start. You will support pupils with daily tasks, assist with personal care when needed and collaborate with teaching staff to promote educational and personal development.

Experience with ASD or SEND and safeguarding is valued. The role offers a structured onboarding, CPD opportunities, and market-leading pay, with some referral benefits

Formación

• Desirable qualifications in Teaching Assistance, Childcare or SEND
• Experience supporting children with ASD or additional learning needs

LSA!TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEN school based in Gravesend, supporting children aged 4-11 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school focuses on providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop their communication, independence and essential life skills <3

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils with their daily tasks, assist with personal care where required and work closely with teaching staff to encourage children's educational, social and personal development, helping them build important skills for their futures.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Relevant qualifications in Teaching Assistance, Childcare or SEND are desirable
• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or additional learning needs
• Experience supporting children with personal care and daily routines
• An understanding of safeguarding and the importance of promoting children's independence
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children with additional needs
