Job summary

Helix Academies Trust is seeking Learning Support Assistants for Marple Hall School in Stockport. You will support students with special educational needs in mainstream classes, bringing patience, flexibility and a commitment to safeguarding to the role.

The post is permanent, 34 hours per week (8:00am–3:30pm), on NJC Scale 3 (£26,427–£26,847 pro rata; actual salary £20,771–£21,101). A DBS check is required; training will be provided; start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupils with SEN/D.
• Previous experience with young people desirable or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special educational needs and/or disabilities in mainstream classes.
• Contribute to a patient, calm and inclusive learning environment.
