Job summary

Helix Academies Trust is hiring Learning Support Assistants for Marple Hall School. The role supports students with special educational needs in mainstream classes and requires a patient, calm approach. Training will be provided and a Disclosure and Barring Service check is necessary.

The position is permanent, 34 hours per week (8am-3.30pm). NJC Scale 3 pro rata, actual salary £20,771-£21,101 dependent on hours.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND is preferred.
• Patient, calm, and adaptable in mainstream classes.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special educational needs in mainstream classes.
• Assist with classroom learning activities and resource preparation.
• Support progress monitoring and reporting for students.
