Job summary

Reddish Vale High School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with barriers to learning, starting ASAP. The role is 36.25 hours weekly, term time only plus 5 days, and is permanent, with Band 5 Points 19-22 (Actual Salary £28,486 - £29,942).

The successful candidate will work one-to-one, with small groups or in-class, helping pupils overcome challenges and promoting inclusion through a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs that may display challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, with small groups or within a classroom, to support the work of the teacher.
