Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream secondary school in Medway, Rochester. You will work with teachers and the SEN team to support students in lessons and help them access the curriculum, including 1:1 and small-group support.

You will help pupils develop confidence and independence, support them academically and pastorally, and contribute to safeguarding and inclusion. This is a full-time role with local placements across Medway and Kent and ongoing CPD.

I’m currently recruiting for a mainstream secondary school in Medway seeking an additional full time Learning Support Assistant to support students across the school.

You’ll work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team, helping students overcome barriers to learning and become more confident and independent.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside teachers and the SEN team to support students within lessons and help them access the curriculum.

Support could include 1:1 work, small groups, classroom interventions and helping students with additional learning needs to develop their confidence and independence.
