Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd. is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for an immediate start to cover until Christmas. You will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils, encourage engagement, and help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

The role requires patience, adaptability and a commitment to safeguarding, with 26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, on-site at our partner school.

Qualifications

• DBS check (enhanced) required.
• Experience with children or young people in education or support roles preferred.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Support pupils in the classroom and assist with day-to-day learning activities.

Essential Requirements

• A valid enhanced DBS certificate is essential.
• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.

• A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and development.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Working Hours and Contract

• 26 hours per week.
