Job summary

Pawlett Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a forward-thinking team. The role focuses on helping pupils engage confidently in learning, including designated lunchtime supervision.

You will support planning and delivery of lessons, work with teaching staff to prepare resources, and maintain student records with care. The ideal candidate brings warmth, initiative and a commitment to inclusive education, with GCSEs in Maths and English and experience supporting pupils

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs and working in an educational setting.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong communication with staff, students and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom support for pupils as planned by teachers.
• Assist with resource preparation, display and care for pupils.
• Keep records of work and provide feedback to teachers.
• Accurately record student records and liaise with colleagues and parents when necessary.
