About the Role


Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Teignmouth.

This part-time role, starting in March 2025, is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to pupils, helping them reach their full potential.


Your Responsibilities as an LSA

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support engaging and inclusive learning activities.
  • Provide individualized assistance to students, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Encourage a positive and well-structured classroom environment.
  • Assist children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Help prepare learning resources and materials.
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing school atmosphere where every pupil feels supported.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an LSA, Teaching Assistant, or similar support role is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, understanding, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • A commitment to ensuring the well-being and success of all students.
