Daily Rate: £89 - £95 per day
Contract Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: September 2025 or sooner
An inclusive and supportive secondary school in Stockport is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide academic, emotional, and SEND-focused support across the school day.
This is a full-time role working across KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on supporting students who require additional help to achieve expected progress.
Providing 1:1 and group academic support in English, Maths, and Science
Supporting students with mild to moderate learning needs (SEN)
Assisting teachers with differentiated planning and classroom management
Delivering targeted interventions for students falling behind expected progress
Supporting pupils’ wellbeing, emotional regulation, and independence
Assisting with exam access arrangements where necessary
You will need:
Previous experience supporting young people in an educational or care setting
Sound academic knowledge (particularly of core GCSE subjects)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a real passion for education
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
