Job summary

City Academy Norwich is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in the SEND Department. The role focuses on adaptive, personalised support for students with diverse needs, delivered through in-class assistance and small-group or 1:1 interventions.

You will work within the Nurture and Cognition & Learning bases, build positive relationships with students, families and professionals, and contribute to a caring, ambitious learning environment.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required with vetting for working with children.
• Vetting checks confirming suitability to work with children and young people.
• Visa sponsorship not available.

A Learning Support Assistant post in the SEND Department at City Academy Norwich, part of Sapientia Education Trust, offered on a permanent, full-time, term-time-plus-three-weeks basis. The work centres on adaptive, personalised support for students with a wide range of needs, delivered through in-class support and small-group or 1:1 interventions. Placements may include the Nurture classrooms, the Cognition & Learning Base or the SEMH Base. An Enhanced DBS check is required and visa sponsorship is not available.
