Location: South London
Hours: Term Time Only, 8:30am - 3:00pm
Salary: Dependent on experience
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a supportive specialist education setting. This role involves working closely with teachers to support students in accessing learning, promoting independence, and encouraging engagement.
You will be working with pupils with a range of needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
In-class support under the guidance of the teacher
Assisting with behaviour and classroom routines
Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or small group basis
Promoting a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
Requirements:
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Experience working with children in a school setting (essential)
Experience with SEND (advantageous)
A calm, patient, and flexible approach
Commitment to safeguarding
