Job summary

St John's Walham Green Church of England Primary School seeks a dedicated candidate to join our pupil-centred team. The role requires GCSEs with English and maths and a willingness to complete first-aid training, with Level 3 preferred.

You will help plan and deliver learning activities, support pupils with diverse needs, and build positive relationships with staff and families, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Experience working with children/young people.
• Experience planning and delivering learning activities.
• Experience planning and leading teaching and learning activities (under supervision).
• Knowledge of safeguarding children guidelines.
• Subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to the role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Active listening and engagement with pupils.
• Ability to build effective relationships with pupils and adults.
• Understanding of adapting support to meet individual needs.
