Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support students across SEMH & SEN needs in North Somerset and Somerset. Typical day starts 08:15 and ends 15:30, with term-time working hours. Roles include covering all year groups, with potential for temp-to-perm progression.

A driver is helpful but not essential for commuting to schools. Experience in education or care is valued, and staff work in welcoming, inclusive environments providing collaborative support to help

Qualifications

• Experience in education or care sector is highly desired, but not essential.
• Ability to support students across all ages and needs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students to engage in a range of enrichment activities.
• Developing learning resources individualized to meet students' communication needs.
• Working with teachers to follow session plans and report progress.
• Using strategies from Positive Behaviour Support Plans to engage learners on-site or in the community.
