Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Twickenham is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Primary) to join our school for a fixed-term contract starting September/October 2026. The role is 36 hours per week during term time plus three inset days.

You will support pupils under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo, help pupils build self-esteem, assist with SEN support plans and personal care where needed, promote inclusion and provide one-to-one support as required. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young pupils or returning to work after a career break.
• Ability to build rapport with pupils and work with diverse needs.
• Awareness of SEN and personal care considerations.
• Commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Provide pupils with support as directed by the teacher and SENDCo.
• Encourage independence and responsibility for learning and behaviour.
• Help pupils to build self-esteem through positive interactions and encouragement.
• Assist with SEN support plans and personal care programmes.
• Promote inclusion throughout the school and establish positive relationships.
• Provide one-to-one support to pupils as required.
