Job summary

The Frances Bardsley Academy, part of LIFE Education Trust in Romford, invites applications for a Learning Support Assistant. You will work with SEND, EAL and disadvantaged students to promote inclusion, wellbeing and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Understanding of specific learning needs and styles to differentiate support to pupils.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook, and provide support to students in using these tools.
• The ability to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking.
• A desire to help all pupils succeed.
• Compassion towards the needs of the pupils.
• The ability to exchange verbal information clearly and sensitively with children and adults.
• The ability to work with a range of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and academic progress for SEND, EAL, and disadvantaged students.
• Work alongside an exceptional team to support pupil learning and development in a large, inclusive girls' school.
