Job summary

City College Norwich is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work across Easton College and City College Norwich sites. You’ll support students with special educational needs, neurodivergences and complex care needs in a range of learning environments—from classrooms to workshops and beauty salons.

You'll enable access to practical and academic learning, build inclusive relationships, and grow with the role, with the expectation to gain a relevant qualification within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Empathy and ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Adaptability to dynamic learning environments

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND, neurodivergences and complex care needs across multiple sites
• Assist in English, maths and subject theory classes as needed
• Support practical/vocational learning in workshops and real-world settings
