Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd in Harrow is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant (Personal Care) to support students with SEN, including those with ASD, PMLD or complex needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with personal care, and help adapt activities to meet individual learning goals.

This long-term, full-time role starts in September in a supportive school setting offering ongoing CPD and specialist SEN training to help you grow in teaching, therapy, or pastoral roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (SEN, care, healthcare, nursery, or similar).
• Comfortable supporting pupils with SEN.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Experience with ASD, PMLD, or complex needs.
• Moving & Handling / Hoist training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, changing, mobility support).
• Support students with communication and emotional regulation.
• Work alongside teachers to adapt learning activities.
• Use specialist equipment where required (hoists, sensory tools).
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
• Monitor and record student progress.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with

special educational needs (SEN), including those requiring

personal care.

This is a rewarding role working closely with pupils who may have

autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or physical disabilities, helping them access education and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide

1:1 and small group support to students with SEN

• Assist with
