We are Nacro, seeking a Learning Support Assistant for our Education Centre in Bolton. You will assist teaching staff across a broad range of subjects and help create a supportive learning environment for all learners.

The role involves understanding diverse learner needs, including LLDD/SEND, and delivering tailored programmes to enable progress from starting points. DBS essential; strong team collaboration encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in supporting young people in an education setting is desirable.
• Experience of working with LLDD students with a SEN is desirable.
• An Enhanced DBS check is essential.

Responsabilités

• Identify and assist learners across a broad spectrum of subjects to support progress.
• Understand learners' needs including LLDD/SEND; tailor strategies accordingly.
• Engage and motivate learners and support tailored programmes for individual goals.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on learner progress and pastoral needs.
• Collaborate with external agencies in multi-agency settings as required.
