Learning Support Assistant for SEND (TA2)

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for learners across the curriculum so that they secure swift progress. We are looking for an exceptional colleague with:

  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • A general understanding of the curriculum and of classroom roles and responsibilities
  • A passion for ensuring that each and every learner flourishes and feels proud of his/her individual achievements
  • The ability to build and maintain successful relationships with learners, to treat them consistently with respect and consideration and demonstrate concern for the development as learners
  • Strong inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a primary or secondary school
