Job summary

St George's Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team assisting pupils with special educational needs across classrooms, Personalised Learning Centre and inclusion facility. The role is 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per year, with usual hours 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Friday, and requires travel between the main campus in Sleaford and the Ruskington site.

A minimum of 2 GCSEs including English and Maths (grades 9-4/A-C) or equivalent is required, with

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with special educational needs in general classrooms, the Personalised Learning Centre and the inclusion facility.
• Work with individual children and groups, under the direction of teaching staff.
• Provide support to teaching staff to promote learning and development.
