Job summary

City of Peterborough Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. Hours of Work - Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am to 3.30pm.

In this key role you will work with the class teachers across a range of activities to promote development and raise the learning and attainment of our pupils, and to support inclusion and pupils’ confidence within the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Work with the class teachers across a range of activities to promote development and raise the learning and attainment of our pupils
• Promote pupils' development, learning, self esteem and social inclusion
• Give support to pupils, individually or in groups so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
