Job summary

Badgerbrook Primary School is seeking aLearning Support Assistant to support teaching staff and assist pupils with learning activities. You will work 15 hours per week during term time, helping create a positive learning environment and monitor pupil progress.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) required.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Understanding of safeguarding, health & safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist individuals and small groups with learning activities.
• Provide feedback on pupil engagement and progress.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
• Prepare and use learning materials, including ICT resources.
• Help create stimulating classroom displays.
