Job summary

Hall Green School in the West Midlands is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time term-time post (32.5 hours/week) with a 30-minute lunch. Hours are flexible to meet the school's needs and may change at short notice; part-time consideration is possible.

The role involves supporting lessons across needs, carrying out personal care duties, and undertaking targeted interventions to help pupils achieve their potential while maintaining safeguarding and DBS checks in place.

Qualifications

• Reliable, enthusiastic and flexible team‑player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English (Compliance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
• Two suitable references required and checks ( DBS, safeguarding, right to work).

Responsibilities

• Undertake and review targeted interventions across all areas of need.
• Support lessons as a Learning Support Assistant, working with pupils across needs.
• Carry out personal care duties.
