Job summary

Vision for Education supports a variety of SEMH & SEN schools in North Somerset and Somerset and are recruiting Learning Support Assistants who are flexible with supporting children across all ages. A typical working day would start at 08:15am and finish at 15:30pm.

We welcome applicants with experience in education or care; driving is helpful but not essential, and we aim to place you close to home. All staff undergo interviews, referencing checks and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the education or care sector is highly desired, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students to engage in a range of enrichment activities.
• Developing learning resources that are individualised to meet students communication needs.
• Working closely with teacher to follow session plans and schemes of work and reporting on the progress of students to inform future planning.
• Utilising strategies from students' Positive Behaviour Support Plan to engage effectively in learning, whether on-site or in the community.
