Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support SEMH & SEN students across primary and secondary ages in North Somerset and Somerset. The role involves assisting with enrichment activities, adapting resources, and following lesson plans to track progress.

A driver is preferred but not essential; commuting to schools is key in a flexible temp-to-perm setup. Pay is 14.24 per hour, with hours from 08:15 to 15:30, term time only.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students to engage in a range of enrichment activities.
• Developing learning resources that are individualised to meet students' communication needs.
• Working closely with teachers to follow session plans and report on student progress for future planning.
• Utilising strategies from students' Positive Behaviour Support Plan to engage learning on-site or in the community.
