Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking Learning Supervisors to support pupils in Lydney and surrounding Gloucestershire at primary, secondary and SEND settings. No QTS required; role involves supervising learning, assisting activities and keeping students engaged throughout the day.

You could be a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or related professional working across schools. Roles are short-term, long-term or flexible with weekly PAYE and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people
• Ability to manage groups of pupils effectively
• Strong communication with pupils and staff

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with classroom activities and learning
• Supervise groups of children and young people
• Follow lesson plans and activities provided by teaching staff
• Help pupils stay focused and engaged
• Provide encouragement and support where needed
• Manage behaviour in a calm and positive way
• Support pupils with additional needs where appropriate
• Help create a safe and welcoming classroom environment
• Work closely with teachers and other school staff
• Report concerns or relevant information to the school
