Job summary

South Ascot Village School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our caring, supportive team. You will work with teachers to support learning across the school and help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
• Assisting teachers in delivering high-quality learning activities.
• Providing targeted support for pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Preparing resources and learning materials to support lessons.
• Supporting the implementation of individual education plans, interventions and behaviour support strategies where required.
• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and breaktimes, helping to maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Supporting pupils' personal care needs where necessary.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
