Arthur Mellows Village College in Peterborough is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for September 2026. This term-time role, 32.5 hours per week from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break, supports students in the classroom and in small groups, helping raise attainment.

The successful candidate will work with teachers and support staff to aid learning, provide personal care as required, and help pupils thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Qualifications

• Good written and spoken English and Maths skills.
• Empathetic and adaptable.
• Ability to support learning across curriculum areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classrooms and small groups or one-to-one with students.
• Support teachers and other staff to raise attainment.
• Move around the College to support students in their education.
