Job summary

St. Peter’s CE Primary Academy in Salisbury is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:00pm (30 hours per week, term time only), fixed term until 31 August 2027.

You will support the class teacher and assist pupils with learning and social communication skills. We value proactive, differentiating teaching support, with experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the class teacher and another TA to support pupils’ learning and social communication.

• Lead, inspire and motivate children to engage with the curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour in the classroom.
