Job summary

Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work at a specialist alternative provision in Coventry. This is a part-time, temporary term-time role, consisting of 3 days per week with a daily rate of £95–£105.

You will deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH and autism, help them recognize and manage emotions, and assist with learning both indoors and outdoors as part of a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, autism or behaviour that challenges as an LSA/TA or similar.
• Warm, patient and nurturing manner with firm boundaries.
• Interest in trauma-informed and relational approaches.
• Dedicated and passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities

Can you help a child feel safe enough to learn again? Luma Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 3 days a week with primary-aged children at a specialist alternative provision in Coventry.

Pupils have SEMH needs, autism and other complex SEND. The school is calm, therapeutic and highly structured, with personalised plans for every child, and outdoor learning in a natural environment plays a big part in the school day.
