Job summary

Castle Bromwich Infant and Nursery School, part of Prosper Together Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant for its SEND Hub. The role is fixed term until 31 August 2027 and involves supporting children with complex needs in a 24-hour week across four days.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or be enrolled to gain it) with strong numeracy and literacy skills. DBS check is required for shortlisted candidates.

The Governors and Headteacher At Castle Bromwich Infant and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a well-motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support our complex needs children within our SEND Hub.

The role is on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2027

The role is for 4 days per week for a total of 24 hours (8.45am – 3.15pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)

At Castle Bromwich Infant and Nursery School we want all our children to feel safe, valued, happy, included and nurtured. Our aim is for all children to be the best that they can be, to be able to be independent critical thinkers who are inspired by their learning and experience success.

Candidates will have relevant NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, or are currently enrolled with a relevant provider to gain it, while a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential.
