Job summary

Yattendon School in Horley, Surrey, invites applications for a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. This permanent, part-time role supports pupils with additional learning needs and contributes to an inclusive classroom environment.

Hours 8:45am to 3:15pm, 28.75 hours per week across 38 weeks per annum, with a 30-minute unpaid break. Experience with SEND, ASD or ADHD is highly valued and training opportunities are available.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who cares about providing both academic and nurture support in class for our wonderful children. Your role will be to work as part of a supportive team to enhance the teaching and learning opportunities for pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs. We would be particularly interested in candidates with relevant experience supporting SEND children and experience working with children with ASD and ADHD in a school or childcare setting. This is a permanent, part time, term time only role. Working hours are 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, 28.75 hours per week, over 38 weeks per annum. Working day includes a 30 minute unpaid break.

The role includes LSA duties as set out in the job description and some class cover (paid at the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant pay scale).
