Job summary

Broadstone Middle School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support individual pupils and small groups, delivering engaging activities that build confidence and a love of learning. • Supporting individual pupils and small groups to access learning and achieve their potential
• Delivering engaging learning activities that build confidence, independence and a love of learning
• Creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
• Building strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
• Adapting support to meet individual needs, including those of pupils with SEND
• Encouraging positive play, friendships and wellbeing during breaktimes and lunchtimes
• Monitoring progress and sharing observations to help pupils receive the support they need
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and its vibrant community
