Birch Wood (Melton Area Special School) is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support teaching staff, assist pupils with learning activities, and help create a nurturing learning environment to enable every child to reach their potential.
The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in STL or equivalent, experience in schools, and strong communication and safeguarding knowledge. Term-time plus INSET days, 32.5 hours per week, permanent contract, with a clear salary
Salary: Grade 5 Pay Point 7-8 (£26,022 - £26,436 per annum, approximate starting salary of £19,555.86 per annum)
Hours: 32.5 Hours per week; 39 Weeks per year (Term time plus INSET days)
