Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within specialist schools supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

You’ll be helping pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation and trust—often becoming one of the most consistent adults in their school life.

Your day could involve:

  • Working 1:1 with pupils requiring additional support

  • Supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Encouraging engagement with learning
  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
