Job summary

Longwood Primary Academy is opening an Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) for children with ASD. The Learning Support Assistant - Additional Resources Provision (SEND) will oversee and deliver day-to-day interventions within the provision, with opportunities to work in the mainstream classroom where appropriate.

The role begins January 2027. The post includes offsite training at another ARP, tailored planning and support ahead of the opening, and a collaborative Trust-wide environment with

Salary: Pt 4-5 (FTE £25,914 - £26,312) Actual Salary £18,203.55 - £18,483.13

Start date: January 2027

Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, 32.5 hrs term time + insets (36.4 working weeks)

Longwood Primary Academy is opening an Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) for children with ASD. The children will attend day to day learning in the ARP however they will have opportunities to work in the mainstream classroom where appropriate.

This will provide a unique opportunity for anyone who wants to develop their skills to oversee and deliver the day to day interventions within the provision.

Part of this opportunity will include offsite training at another ARP, alongside tailored planning and support, ahead of the opening at Longwood.
