Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a permanent Learning Support Assistant for the 14 to 16 Provision at Berkshire College of Agriculture. This term-time role is 35 hours per week across 38 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

The salary ranges from £20,562.96 (G17) to £22,016.24 (G19), with full-time equivalent £25,483 to £27,284. The role supports students to access classes, develop English, maths and ICT skills and build confidence.

Formación

• Essential qualifications include Level 2 qualifications, such as GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent learners and those with additional learning needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning, delivery and review of learning activities.
• Support students to overcome barriers and develop English, mathematics and ICT skills.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of learning materials.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Support the use of specialist equipment where required.
