Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Southend-on-Sea, with full-time or part-time opportunities and competitive rates dependent on experience.

You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence while ensuring safeguarding standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
• A patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

1:1 Learning Support Assistant Required

Protocol Education is currently recruiting a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for pupils within a welcoming and inclusive school in Southend-on-Sea.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
