Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a primary school in Southend-on-Sea. The role involves providing individual support to a pupil to access learning, build confidence and reach their potential within the classroom.

This full-time, term-time-only position offers dedicated consultant support, weekly PAYE pay, and access to professional development including SEND and safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting is desirable.
• A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential.
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil.
• Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom
• Support the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Southend-on-Sea on a full-time basis. The Role

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide dedicated support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis
• Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
