Learning Support Assistant - SEN Schools (Wisbech & Surrounding Areas)

Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Long-term
Start Date: Immediate and September 2025 starts available
Salary: 90 - 100 per day (depending on experience and role)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs or have previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant?

Tradewind are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of SEN schools across Wisbech and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, resilient, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
• Assist the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour management
• Help implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, residential, or care settings)
• A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) are beneficial but not essential
