Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School (Wilmslow)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Daily Rate: £89 - £100

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs and additional learning requirements, in a school committed to inclusion and high standards.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group academic and emotional support

  • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated, inclusive lessons

  • Help implement strategies from Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

  • Support students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)

  • Foster a safe, encouraging, and productive learning environment

  • Promote student confidence, independence, and wellbeing

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or care setting

  • A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting learning

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliable, patient, and passionate about inclusive education

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent); a TA qualification is desirable but not essential

  • A friendly, collaborative staff team in a well-regarded high school
