Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs and additional learning requirements, in a school committed to inclusion and high standards.
Provide 1:1 and small group academic and emotional support
Assist teachers in delivering differentiated, inclusive lessons
Help implement strategies from Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Support students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
Foster a safe, encouraging, and productive learning environment
Promote student confidence, independence, and wellbeing
Experience working with young people in an educational or care setting
A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting learning
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent); a TA qualification is desirable but not essential
A friendly, collaborative staff team in a well-regarded high school
